ABOUT THE AUTHOR
John Joseph Daniels, pen name Jack Daniels in honor of his father, was born in 1924. He holds a master’s degree in hospital administration from Cardinal Stritch College, now a university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He served in WWII for more than three years, then joined the Active Army Reserve, retiring as Chief Warrant Officer (CWO4). He was selected by the Veterans Administration Hospital system as Personnel Officer and later by the U.S. Navy as Personnel Director in Bermuda.
John Daniels has written another book, Memories of the Great Depression, an autobiography.
