Girls on the Bench is a wonderfully illustrated story about a girl, Bridget, who comes to an important life decision. Life can be tough on young girls and boys who don’t follow the norm. Bridget is a healthy, active girl who is often referred to as a “Tomboy.” The story Girls on the Bench tells the tale of how one girl came to the decision not to let other people’s opinions influence her life choices or interests.
