Donate Jacksonville is a guide for the Jacksonville community. By providing information on dozens of organizations that are in need of donations, Donate Jacksonville gives those in the area a chance to help others and be “green” at the same time.
About the AuthorI have lived in the Jacksonville, Florida, area since 1984. I graduating from the University of North Florida in 2000 with a biology degree and shortly after started working in the animal field. I have always had a drive to improve the community I live in. Because of this drive, I have regularly donated to a variety of organizations. These include Hubbard House, The Salvation Army, and several animal rescues. I have also brought dozens of stray animals into my own home and found great families for them. I currently have four animals of my own: my dog, Sierra; Mable the rat; and two leukemia cats, Ranger and Fred.
