Diary of a Painted Lady follows the life cycle of a butterfly. It was written based on 21 days of activities and lessons in the author’s kindergarten classroom and was designed to supplement students’ springtime observations of caterpillars becoming butterflies.
About the AuthorDeBorah Denson McCray is an elementary school teacher with more than 30 years experience. She was raised in Bartow, Florida and currently lives in Gainesville, Florida with her husband, Fred. She has one son, four grandchildren, and a stepdaughter.
She became interested in writing as a teenager, when she realized how inspiring the written word could be and decided she wanted to inspire others.
