Simona Ciarlo hails from a town called Kankakee, south of Chicago. She earned an associate's degree in law enforcement, but always dreamed of acting or songwriting. Inspired by the life of Kcee, she finally wrote, finished, and published a book. She feels that, no matter what is said about Carrying Hammers on Wings, no one can alter the fact that it’s based on a true story and that is what counts.
