Before Morning Comes is a story following the lives of five young women who respond to a call for single young women willing to go to a new and unsettled country and become wives of men they have never met. The purpose is to help these men in their efforts to claim an underdeveloped land for a homestead. As we all realize, a planned, ordinary life sometimes isn’t so ordinary. Different and unthought-of events have a way of surprising us and changing our plans.
Read about how Judith and her friends deal with the new and different through and because of their faith in the Lord.
About the AuthorI have been a Christian since I was not quite eight years old. I attend a Southern Baptist Church, where I am presently teaching a class of loving older women. They are a very devoted group of women.
This book is my first attempt to write a novel. My first idea for it was the result of my genealogy research in the state of New York, where the families of several of my lines lived. My idea began to grow after I had read several books from the area in which they lived. I used a few names that I found in the books, but all of the characters are completely fictional.
