The author of ten books on biblical subjects, Fr. Roland studied in the United States and Italy and taught Scripture in both countries. In 1977 he was elected the head of his international religious order (the Franciscan Third Order Regular) and given responsibility for the direction of the Order in Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Asia. This book includes many recollections of that time.
Born in Pittsburgh, Fr. Faley now resides in Loretto, Pennsylvania.
