Mindy Brown, a fourteen-year-old eighth grader at Jonesville Middle School in Jonesville, Michigan, has been writing since age six. She has written more than forty scripts and stories and also enjoys writing poems.
Mindy has four pets: Duchess, a calico cat; Rita, a guinea pig; Jewel, a terrier mix; and Clover, a Dutch rabbit. She has been involved in 4-H in Hillsdale County since the third grade, and actively participates in Animal Wonders and Team Frisky, a 4-H club for dogs only.
