ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A Vietnam-era Army veteran, Billy D. Borden was born in 1943 in Rosebud, Texas, and grew up in Corpus Christi. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in wildlife biology from New Mexico State University. Billy worked for the state of Texas as a wildlife biologist for ten years, and he recently retired from an eighteen-year tenure as a science teacher in Rosebud, where he currently owns and operates a small business.
