The Adventures of Charlie, the Calf Who Wanted to be a Pony

by Claris H. Cronkhite
Illustrated by Margot S. Schulzke
Charlie the Calf was delighted with the attention he received from the children, and he returned their affection. Then one day, Tabitha, a Shetland pony, came to live in the pasture, and everything changed when the children turned their attention to their new friend. What will Charlie do to win back their favor? Prance around like the pony? Try to escape? Or just sulk and be lonely and envious?
Join Claris H. Cronkhite in this delightful children’s story about the dangers of envy and refusing to be happy with who you are.
